ArchBells, Megalochori-Santorini

I miss Santorini. I miss Megalochri village. I miss my good friends and especially Pol-Dayadan-owner of www.santorini-villas.gr and my connection to the island. At the moment,after more than a year that i'm away from the island, this momument, which i arbitrary call ArchBells, symbolizes for me my missing and my connection with the place. Because feeling back to when i am there, it seems to me like a gate into the space. Everytime i pass under it's like a religious experience independent of any specific religion. I tried to find some information about it's architecture-for example, it's style looks to me more Catholic influenced than Orthodox-but i guess that is irrelevant. The point is the feeling it emanates, something like coming home...Those who have passed under it may well have felt it.
