On The Sands Of My Shore (Eresos-Lesvos, September 2017

Sands on my shore
hold all my steps
but can't be hold,
 the more I would grab
 the more they let go
 sliping away
I must have been sleeping,
dreaming
that I can hold on to what is long gone.

Turning my back to the norm of the world,
 I really can't afford
to get lost from myself in thoughts.

Sands on my shore,
speak to me,
bringing back your words of let go
diving in each other's arms
having surrendered our rusty armies.

They sing with each caress of the sea
every crashing of the waves,
calling me to the deep,
washing away every footstep
waving back remembance.

We come, we go,
come together, go apart,
we love, we fight,
we dance throught the night to the light
witnesses of us the stars,
and then the wave comes washing all away,
we left no trace
but the beating of the heart
like the breathing of the universe
beat by beat
grain of sand by grain of star
like whirling celestial.
