Eresos, September 2011

After a full-on summer, September is the time to find a lot of relaxed time to enjoy and explore Eresos. These are some pictures from this time, that a very good friend and work partner visited. They range from the view of the valley from Mesotopos, to the chapel of Prophete Elias straight up from the sea, the "Mama's Wild side" cantine on the beach of Eressos, the "Aquaflot-Watsu" sessions given in Tavari by Aasmi, the "Women's Rock Club" where the "lesbians" that come each year for heir festival, swim to the rocky small island 500m away every morning, to girls-only volley ball, to sunset at Tsichliotas lonely bay and the teddy bear scarecrow on the road back to town, to the fishermen at Tavari, to a wrapped up tree at Skala Eressos and one oak tree that used to stand proud and divine on the road but was cut down supposedly for not to threaten the circulation of cars.
