Spiral Gardens and Crop Circles, April 2013, Osho Afroz MC, Eressos

The earth isn't flat. And it sure isn't round in a flat way. Imagine it being round in a spiral way. Then we might understand why for some places on earth we say they have "higher energy"...As soon as i got to Afroz this April, Margarita shared with me how much she wanted to transform a space out of her kitchen that was being used for garbage transit, into a garden. Next day we got to work. I brought rocks from a field wall that had colapsed across the river, old clay tiles from an old fallen roof and all the soil we could get from around and from previous years compost making. Talking about it at night, we got into the spiral pattern that is found everywhere in the universe and so we set out to create a spiral garden. We had all the rocks we could use but not enough soil. So it's not exactly finished-is there an end to a spiral anyway? And then, while cutting the grass-more like playing with the machine-i designed a spiral crop circle with the wooden bench on it's centre. This last project dissapeared in a week when all the grass dryed. But all of them projects was seen by me as a manifestation of what is allready in this space, the "higher ground" energy, as well as a study in the relationship betweent the ephemeral and the long lasting...
