My second day in the Tibetan Olympics took me in the Himachalian forests for the Archery practise. The event had started a few days before i arrive, so by now the athletes, which came from all over India, were becoming a interconnected as a team and a friedly laegue too. Shihan Hussaini from the Archery Association of Tamilnadu in South India, gave his best to inspire them as a team of individuals, as well as training them in archery. Again i saw that a lot of the athletes had no previous touch with a bow and arrow. And then, how archery is more in the cultural genes of a Tibetan than the swimming on the previous day. Ofcourse, it could just be that swimming took the child out of these athletes, while archery revealed the warrior. Anyway, by the end of the practise, the athletes have come to merge with the bow and arrow quite a lot... I feel very happy and excited posting these photos. It means that i took out of the file and edited pictures that were shot but haven't seen until now. So i see a story unfolding infront of me. Eventhough i took these pictures, it seems now that i'm looking at them for the first time... All these days that i was there, i wasn't much concerned about data and information, i was more focused in the feeling and the spirit of what was happening. But i guess i should at some point write some names, like those of the athelets. So in the next days i will be enriching the posts with some information.
